Welcome to the homepage of Zhichao Xu’s lab! Dr. Zhichao Xu is a tenure track assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, McGovern Medical School, University of Texas Health Houston. This laboratory aims to understand the function of complex genomic arrangements, with a long-term goal of developing better therapies for human cancer and other genetic diseases. To this end, we will create an environment for training the next generation of scientists and collaborating with other researchers in the field.
